I had a busy weekend. One of the things I did was... well, the ticket stub above should give you a hint.
One particular thing that made me think: You know when Jake first finds himself in his avatar and then goes out of control? The doctors were going to inject him with this stuff to knock him out, which they couldn't. Then he runs out and Norm in his avatar goes after him (I think I got his name right. I could make a correction if I got it wrong). At that point, why didn't they "pull the plug"??? Yeah, you know, that's what was done later in the movie to make humans lose access to their avatars. Haven't they even though of that when Jake ran outside, not cooperating??? He was lucky that he wasn't even reprimanded for that!
OK, outside of that, I would agree with most people who say that it's a must see movie. It's not "I'll Be Back", "Hasta la vista, Baby", or "Talk to the Hand" (I don't think James Cameron directed that one). As I was told, it's some sci-fi adventure that's like cowboys and indians with a lot of shoot-em-up scenes and all that. I don't think there's much more to say about this movie. But I think I'll see it again on DVD.
This is the first time I've seen a 3-D movie on the big screen.
Oh yes, as I've learned in this movie: Nevi'im are not smurfs.
Checking out these links might give away too much if you have not seen the movie.
